Warm Solstice Greetings and Blessings of Love, Light, Wisdom and Peace to All
Jun 22, 2025
Dear Friends π·ππ
As we return to the light now the longest night of this time has passed in the southern hemisphere, and the light begins to further diminish in the norther hemisphere, we are invited to look at the light energy shifting and moving within our own worlds and to move with the changes happening around us, in Nature, and within the society and tribes that we walk with, as well as within our own homes and families. We may also feel impacted by what is happening in the Middle East and other places where weapons of war are having such a horrendous impact on those who dwell in places of such unrest.
Each day I find myself praying for love, light, wisdom and peace to prevails. This is a prayer that my beloved companion Dr Corn and I composed and often sing together:
For all people to love one another,
For all beings to shine their light,
For all leaders to share their wisdom,
And all nations to live in peace.
Turning to the wisdom of the ancients for lasting proven guidance during this time of heartache and confusion across nations of the world I found this simple yet profound quote handed down by shamanic wisdom teacher Gershon Winkler from an ancient Jewish collection of wisdom, the Talmud:
“The highest form of wisdom is kindness."
And this from prophet of Islam, Muhammad:
“The Prophet Muhammad (s) said:
“Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished”.
(Author Imam Al Bukhari in Goodreids).
And we find loving kindness as being the major underpinning value and quest of ancient cultures and peace loving people such as the Hopi nation in Turtle Island (America) and Waitaha peoples (the first people of Aotearoa, New Zealand). The original peoples of this part of beloved continent known broadly as Australia walk harmoniously and with great respect with Mother Nature and for the Cosmos. Well known elder Uncle Bob Randal, original "Tjilpi" elder of the Yankunytjatjara Aboriginal Nation of Central Australia and respected custodian of desert country, gifted the Way of ‘Kanyini’ to us to remind us to care for each other and the environment through the ancient wisdom practice of unconditional love and responsibility.
In a world filled increasingly with conflict and division, we are reminded that peace begins right here with each one of us in our World Within where we have the capacity to filter everything through loving compassion and kindness if we choose.
The faiths of Christianity, Bahai, Judaism and Islam all claim inherent ties with the wise elder, prophet, “father” Abraham who was known for his great faith to God, as well as his loving compassion, and who received the covenant with the Creator on a sacred pilgramage:
"In thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed". (This quote, found in Genesis 22:18).
The biological seed of Abraham has filtered down to encompass the leaders of many of the worlds most populated religions. Moses was a Jew born in Egypt, descended from Abraham's great-grandson Levi; Jesus was a Jew born in Israel, descended from Abraham's great grandson Judah; and Muhammed was an Ishmaelite born in Arabia, descended from Abraham's son Ishmael.24 Nov 2022. Founder of the world’s most rapidly rowing religion, the Baha’i faith, BaháΚΌu'lláh (1817-1892) also had ties to Abraham with scholars tracing his lineage back to Abraham through Abraham’s third wife Ketura. Baha’I teachings focus on unification of all religions and the oneness of humanity, aspiring to love and respect for all beings.
While scholars and experts strive to interpret the bible so as to understand the meaning given to us by God when speaking of Abraham’s seed, we can acknowledge and agree that we are indeed all kindred and seeds of this earth, Mother Earth, Sky and Cosmos βοΈ It is time we learn to live together, side by side in love, light, wisdom and peace.
In admiration in this quote from a recent profound post by my dear soul sistar and, shamanic and kabbalistic wisdom teacher Ettinka:
“Rather than blame or take a side and continue fuelling separation, I invite you to rise above. Tap into your heart, remember that we are one”(FBook 14.6.25).
Finally, I once asked an amazingly wise elderly client of mine, born in Palestine where he lived out his childhood and early adulthood in traditional ways as a shepherd and was often a victim of abuse, how he was able to forgive so many people for the hardship of his childhood and he answered me by saying:
“ There is no one to forgive as I learnt from an early age not to condemn anyone”.
This is a time when in one way or other we are called to accept that creation in is constant flux and change, with Mother Nature constantly showing us how to do this, especially right now with a new moon soon to rise and the turning of the seasons and balance of time evident in the winter and summer solstices across the world. As much as many of us cling to innate values and our dreaming for the present and future, there is a Big Picture that we may never understand until it’s objective is well and truly in motion and even past, if at all.
There are many wise, dedicated spiritual leaders in the world holding our hands and hearts in loving compassion and kindness through this time, and we are encouraged to shine our light of love, light, wisdom and peace at every opportunity.
Loving heartfelt π blessings to all
