You will be guided on a sacred circle meditation where you will learn about the 8 directions that support you on your journey, and taken on a shamanic drum journey to one of these directions or worlds, to be offered the opportunity to meet an animal spirit guide who is supporting you on your journey and your visions and dreams at this time and into the future. You will meet your animal spirit guide in an inner landscape/water/fire/or air scape where it is most comfortable and can best support your quest. Perhaps you will bring back a message, or you may simply enjoy the experience and feel more relaxed, and perhaps reassured of how you are being supported, afterwards.
Animal spirit guides help us in numerous ways.
🦋 They guide us to discover more about ourselves and our dreaming.
🦋 We can ask them to share their medicine to strengthen us on our journey in spirit, body, heart and mind.
🦋 They will act as guides and companions in our Worlds Within and Without when we learn to recognise certain animals that resonate with our own spirit, or the spirit of our Ancestors.
🦋 They assist us to explore the World Below to find and retrieve soul pieces that we may have disconnected with.
🦋 They watch over us from the World Above, guiding us always to the light.
Heather's Experience with The Sacred Drum
"The lessons I have learned along the way to help me understand my drum(s) have come from both internal and external guides, however, ultimately the Drum Spirit itself has been my primary teacher. I have been called to share what I know to assist you to feel more connected to your own Drum Spirit, and to feel confident in journeying alongside of this with great joy and respect."
Heather has been playing drums for personal and client healing and as a tool to facilitate inner guidance since 2004, after been called by the Spirit of The Drum in her dreams. Every night she would hear the drum calling to her and soon realized she had to make one. Within a few days of her decision to make a drum, a teacher of drum making showed up literally at the door of her practice, handing out fliers for making drums. She made her first drum and felt its sacredness immediately. Since then Heather has been guided, from within, in ways to connect with and play her drums, for ceremonial purposes, for taking inner journeys, for healing, and for celebrating.
Sacred drums can be found across cultures, and are made out of a variety of animal and plant materials. While having experienced teachings from a small number of teachers of sacred wisdom around the globe in the physical world, Heather does not claim to be a teacher of any particular branch of shamanism or sacred drum teachings, rather she has co-created her Sacred Drum teachings with the drums that have kept her company on her journey, and with her inner guides and teachers who have guided her since 1997. Any drum and drummer is welcome to come to the Sacred Drum workshops, however the one requirement is that the student is ready to drop into and be guided by the Way of the Sacred, and The Spirit of the Drum.
About Heather Price:
Heather Price has dedicated her life to discovering, exploring, and sharing earth wisdom, and guidance from her inner world experiences. She follows four Australian generations of ancestors who lived and worked on the land, and left those traditions to follow the call into service to community and humanity. With a background in social science and counselling, she has been working with people for almost two decades to reconnect them with the truth of who they are to assist them to live, love and lead in a spirited way. Heather is passionate about supporting communities to grow and expand in consciousness, in sister and brotherhood, and to show love for and take responsibility for the earth they depend on, honoring their ancestors, and illuminating and transforming past ways and limiting beliefs that no longer serve. Heather lives in Sydney near her family where she enjoys helping to take care of her three grandchildren. She takes her works to city and country spaces around Australia and has held ceremonial gatherings and circles of wisdom, sharing her teachings, in New Zealand and Hawaii. www.heatherprice.net
