Heather Price invites you to walk with her around Father Tibrogargen to connect deeply with the mountain, the creatures and spirits of the mountain, and the earth. SPECIAL GIFT:
I am delighted to be sharing some of the guidelines for walking consciously on the earth channelled by my Hawaiian guide Master Po at this walk. These simple, yet powerful teachings were gifted to me both in Hawaiian and English language. Blessed with these teachings for a little while now since my visit to Hawaii in 2009, I have been recently told it is time to take them out for others to benefit from.

ABOUT THESE SACRED EARTH WALKS:
The Shaman's Walk workshops are run regularly as a means of establishing a deeper relationship with the elements of the earthly and unseen planes that guide each person in both a conscious and unconscious way. They are aimed to heighten each participant's awareness of how they can choose to relate more deeply to the elements of nature to inspire and heal the many important aspects of their life.
These walks hope to convey the message that while each one of walks this path to enlightenment and truth alone, we are never alone and are deeply connected and part of everything and everyone on this planet. WHAT HAPPENS:
“We sit for about an hour in story talk, sacred sound, and meditation, then walk slowly around the mountain taking about 2 and a half hours to do this. Each person has the opportunity to heal with the mountain, and this is usually the case. Father Tibrogargen particularly offers healing for masculine wounding. When I first went to the mountain to heal with Father Tibrogargen, he welcomed me and has since been a father figure for me, and a great spiritual mentor. He told me he would gift me a staff when I finally agreed to take others to the mountain. The staff came on the day of the first gathering with six other people. There were three staffs waiting at the entry for me to choose from. This staff now guides participants on this magical journey” (Heather Price).

WHAT TO BRING:
Walking shoes
Hat
Mozzie/Sun protection (long light weight trousers and shirts recommended)
Mat/throw to sit/lie on and sarong for added protection from sun and mozzies
Food and water
Cameras are allowed – but you need to ask permission of others
Notepad (small one to carry is good idea)
Backpack
Staff – not compulsory nor necessary – but welcome Music instruments and private shamanic stones and symbols etc welcome
A gift for the Mountain - If you would like to bring a crystal or stone to offer or give back to the earth – you are MOST welcome – but please don’t buy a new one. Dried herbs and flowers as gifts welcome – but please be aware of seeds and contamination. Essences, a poem or song to share are lovely alternatives as a gifts also.
ENERGY EXCHANGE:
There are no limits, however, your offering of $50 is welcomed in exchange for an amazing day. Please pay by bank transfer ahead of time if you can. Maree will send you the details when you make your booking. If you are experiencing hardship, or need a hand, please let Maree or myself know. Everyone is welcome.
The proceeds from these walks go toward subsidizing Heather’s community work which often involves extensive travel. She also assists other earth healers and good causes with these donations. Last year the money donated from her Shaman’s Walks went toward her costs for travelling to Emerald in Central Queensland to deliver workshops to flood victims.
HOW TO GET THERE
Please don't follow google maps as it takes you to the wrong side of the mountain.
Travel about forty minutes from the edge of Brisbane until you come to the Australia Zoo via Steve Erwin Way turn off. Follow this road for a few minutes, passing the turn to Beerburrum to your left, a fruit shop on your right, and the next turn left you see a sign to Mt Tibrogargen. Cross over the railway line and turn into Barrs road. A few minutes along this road on your left, you will find a sign to the carpark. It may be full - just park on the side of the road. We meet left of the main walkway – which is left of the main carpark.

Please let Heather know you are coming. You will need to bring some water; weather protection, sun or rain; comfortable or walking shoes; towel or rug to sit on and a drum or musical instrument if you would like to. Also it is a good idea to bring a few snacks. Mossie repellent may be needed as well.
(generally children over 12 please as we are meditating and sharing in circle).
Contribution: By donation (After costs, these donations are sent to environmental or animal causes.) Young people / Children over 12 free.
