Dear Facebook Readers of Shamanic Path and Practice
As I have been invited, by both Spirit and fellow earth beings, to take my work out further afield this year, I thought to let those of you, whom never may have heard of me, a little bit about myself, both from my own perspective and from feedback given to me. At the same time, I want to reassure you that by telling you about me, I am thinking of you, and want to tell you how much I respect you and the time you are taking right now to read this.
If you are reading this, you may have well had a call to the shamanic path, or you might just be curious as to what it is all about. For me, the call to shamanism came at a very early age, though I wasn't conscious of it until I was in my late thirties.
For as long as I can remember I have been in communion with Mother Nature and her creatures. I spent most of my free time as a child up one tree or other, building cubby houses or hiding. I would often sit in the middle of a paddock (field) during Spring time and make daisy chains, and before too long would be surrounded by a mob of horses nibbling my head.
I would lie for hours and watch ants, fascinated by their endurance and strength. To this day ants still surround me where ever I live.
My favourite bird was the Pee Wee, and at this time of change and stepping our he/she follows me around and leaves feathers for me. Now days, the Eagle is a guide for me, and the Magpie a messenger.
My best friend when I was very small was a spirit child who looked just like me, my twin sister in spirit. We would talk for hours in my parents bedroom when everyone else was watching tv. I could see my guardian angel and felt safe and protected, even when I was in real danger.
Growing up was difficult, as I could sense so much more than what others seemed to be able to, and I was never quite sure if I had had spoken my thoughts out loud as I felt easily able to send them anywhere I wished.
I had a challenging and troubling childhood and experienced great trauma at times, however I was greatly comforted by my rich Inner World. It is this rich Inner world that still supports me so well in my daily life and in my teachings.
As an adult, my call to become a facilitator healer was clear and strong and I obeyed every step of the way.
The people who have come to me have inspired me to fully embrace my vocation as and energy healing and counsellor. Almost every day I am privileged to be trusted to hold space for these blessed beings to rediscover themselves and their Inner Healer. I have also guided people who come to me to discover the healing powers of nature.
Others have come to me to enhance their own gifts as Healing Facilitator for themselves and others. They come from all different fields of life, and are of a variety of ages. Currently I have three children (clients) who appear to know as much and more than me about healing. There have been many children and young people who have come to find their way 'home' with me.
Recently, with my decision to travel further afield with my teachings, both on Facebook and by foot, I thought to share with you some of the feedback I have been so kindly given on the work and play we have had together. That way you may get to know me through other's eyes.
I have outlined some of these testimonials below, and made them anonymous as this is such a public forum.

I have completed the IVET training and some supervision sessions with Heather over the past 5 years.These processes have helped me to deepen the way I live and work and opened up to a more holistic way of working with my clients. Simply put, Heather helped me get my mojo back! Three years ago I lost my way in the corporate world and was really unhappy. In a sense I had allowed myself to be primarily about metrics, targets and satisfying everyone else. I had the nice title and enjoyed the business class lounge... all the things I thought would give me a sense of achievement, but I felt far from happy. A costly burnout was the result. With a gas tank at zero I went to see Heather.Heather helped me find my heart so I could put it back into my life! As odd as that sounds I am now able to work in the world from a more loving space with more energy and creativity. Hi EveryoneHeather is one of the most authentic healers I know. Her capacity to give love , healing and insight is divine. I suggest a vision board workshop for groups at work.I have used my vision board for the last couple of years and have built on it since the workshop with Heather. One of my most important dreams was to have a baby and after completing the workshop with Heather (and working with a naturopath) I finally became a mother to my beautiful daughter after trying for 4 years, I am almost finished my 4th year of Psychology at University and will use my vision board to create a thriving business.
