                                            No need to fear -
That dreaded feeling of something not being right,
                                            Nor enough,
                                            Nor indeed, in anyway adequate,
Let alone be what is not needed right now.

                                            Come now, so pessimistic?
When roses can still be found
To be intoxicating like no other flower’s scent?

                                            When grassy fields
So green as not to be possibly imagined?
When a child’s smile caused your heart
                                            To miss a beat?

How then, can it be that we miss
                                            The beauty in so many
                                            Single, simple moments?
And the possibility of joy through
                                            Stopping Mind’s busy thoughts
For a second to truly hear what a

Oh joy – yes be joy filled
With time taken to truly experience beauty

                                            Inspirational in their perfection,

                                            Good Morning Dear Friends.

I have decided to start a new Blog here - I see this as my diary - a diary reflecting:

A Day on The Shamanic Path.

As you may know, I have another Blog - and you can find a link on the tool bar at the left to that place.

On this sixth day of December, 2011, I am aware of today's numbers adding up to the number 4, and am thinking about what that means to me:

                                            • The fourth side of a square - or the formation of a square - some form of completion perhaps. Yes, today I will complete some advertising for upcoming training workshops that I have been working on for some time, so I am reassured now I have put that message from the numbers of today together.
                                            • The 4 Cardinal Directions -  North West and South and East - representing Body, Heart, Mind and Spirit, in the teachings of the Sacred Circle, gifted to me at the beginning of my journey of teaching this way. Today feels like the completion of a cycle, and as I generally start my cycle in the East - the place of Spring time and new beginnings, this would mean I am in the place of the fourth direction - the direction of the Mind - a good day for beginning a new Blog. It is also a good day for planning - which I have done a lot of already today.
                                            • The 4 Vertical directions - Within, Without, Above and below. I am once again reminded of the beauty of these directions, and how well they support me on my wonderful journey.

So how has my day begun?

I woke early, reflecting immediately on the word WAKE UP, which is the name of the radio show (WAKE UP with Heather Price Radio) that I host once a fortnight on Blog Talk Radio, with The Difference Radio Network. When I tuned into these words, I could hear Great Spirit speaking to me and I began to hear that WAKE UP was a new acronym for me to use. It seems I am gathering acronyms to guide my work and I now have quite a number - I have MAGIC, and BE VAST NOW - which are two wonderful acronyms to assist me with current teachings.

Here is what I heard about WAKE UP  - and how we can do that more easily and effectively - that is, wake up and walk more consciously on the earth:

W - The W's of life - Who are You? Why are you here? Where have you come from? Where are you going? These are the questions that help us to wake up and live more consciously - to walk a more conscious path. Finding the answers to these questions can be a life-long journey.

A - For Awareness - not only of the W's - but also living in awareness means to be alert and watchful, to be the Observer - of your thoughts (the Sacred Circle vertical direction of Within), your words, your intentions and visions, your actions, and your ENERGY! What do you attract to you without realizing?  What would you prefer to attract to you? Alerting the Universe to what you are seeking. Waking up and consciously stepping up and out to meet your dreams. Awareness of your language of love - what brings you joy and opens your heart. Awareness of your divine gifts and how you can and do make a difference in the world (that is, the direction of Without).

K - Represents kindness on the journey of waking up. Begin by being kind to yourself - and gentle with your reflections of self and others. Be conscious of the power of your thoughts and choose to be loving and kind with these, so as to empower the people around you, rather than take away their energy or allow them to chord into you and deposit their energy onto you. Kind thoughts will keep your energy field clean.

E - Energise yourself as you WAKE UP. Keep your belly filled with powerful light that you bring in several times through the day. Breathe consciously - think about what you are bringing in with your breath, and what you are letting go of. Ask dear Mother Earth to take your outgoing energy as you let go of anything heavy in your life. She will take it into her womb, the vertical direction of Below,  and transform it for you -into anything you ask -  but don't just take this for granted - be grateful and give thanks for this great gift, and share some of your energy with Her. Your breath is your most powerful and economical tool - use it consciously! NOW! When you build your energy field each day, you will start to manage the challenges that come your way with ease and grace. Your energy bank will be full. Wake up now, and take charge of your energy bank, and fuel it with optimism, love, gratitude, kindness, compassion, and open-hearted joy.

U - This stands for UP - look up - and be aware that there is a world above you filled with ancestors in the stars, Father in the Sun, Grandfather in the Sky, Grandmother in the Moon - planets that hold the key to the macrocosm of life. Then there are the Angelic beings who watch over you, and the creatures who fly, like the Great Eagle, who will take your spirit and soar with it to the Great Spirit in the Sky. This is a place of vastness, and a place of validation and guidance. Ask for help from the vertical direction of Above here.

P - Finally we come to the P, of WAKE UP, and your path of walking more consciously on the earth, and planet. P stands for Preparation, and in shamanic practice for a healing practitioner - you will do well to prepare yourself first, then your space, then your client - for what lies ahead. When we learn to prepare our day, with daily early morning reflection on our intention for the day, and take time to visualise how we would prefer it to unfold, it helps us to move into the day with more confidence and ease, and with a light, open heart. It will also, as mentioned earlier, prepare us for what may lie ahead, so we can move through and around any obstacles that may try to sabotage our flow.

In conclusion now, as part of my daily preparation, from time to time,  I like to say the following prayer (another P word). This prayer comes from the AA and Alon tradition, and I learned it from my mother early in my life:

To the God of your understanding (mine being Great Spirit):

                                            Great Spirit, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
                                            The Courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know The Difference!

                                            And I add:

Please guide me on this day to walk consciously and purposefully on the earth, and to keep my heart open and resilient, in love and gratitude, always, and all ways.

Go Well my dear Friends, and please leave your own comments on how you walk consciously on the earth today
                                            xx Heather
